Alpha Conference Champs Crowned: Joliet Blues Thursday, August 22nd , 2086 The Joliet Blues have silenced their critics, backed up those who believed in them and won the Alpha Conference. "You always think you've got a chance to win the division, but until you get it done you never really know how things are going to play out," said starting pitcher Kiyohiro Murakami. "I think we're all grateful to get the chance to vie for the League Championship." It is the 14th division crown for the franchise and the team manager said in a sporting landscape where you are judged by what you've most recently accomplished, "it feels incredibly good to be at the top of the pile." |
