AC Player of the Week Named Monday, August 19th , 2080 A hot-hitting week got Yenier Arruebarrena the Alpha Conference Player of the Week trophy. He really wore out his welcome with league pitchers. The Baton Rouge third baseman slammed them for a .583 average, 7 hits in 12 at-bats, 2 home runs, 6 RBIs and scored 3 runs. In the postgame press conference, Arruebarrena shared his hitting philosophy with the BNN scribes: "Just look for the seams and hit between them... nothin' more than that." So far this season, Arruebarrena has hit .316 with 16 home runs, 33 RBIs and scored 38 times. |
