Broncs Ace Baeza Cops Outstanding Pitcher Award Wednesday, September 20th , 2084 Beta Conference hitters didn't have much of a chance in the 2084 season when the Santa Ana manager wrote "Jorge Baeza" on the lineup card. Outing after outing, he held teams in check and usually got a win. He excelled with a 13-3 mark and 3.24 ERA in 28 starts, tossed 152.2 innings, fanned 157 and held opposing teams to a .228 average. For his superb season Baeza was today named the BC Outstanding Pitcher Award winner. He received 22 first place votes out of a possible 30. Lao Lum of the Oxnard Tigercats finished second in voting with 8 first place votes, while Shao-zu An of the Hamilton Argonauts finished third.
