Tigercats Win 2076 League Championship Saturday, September 5th , 2076 The Oxnard Tigercats ignited a huge celebration as they beat the Anaheim Rage 4-2 to win the League Championship. Oxnard won the series 5-1, capturing the title for the 2nd time. "We stepped it up at the right time, and now we're the champs," said Oxnard manager . "It's a great feeling." The champs finished the regular season 81-49 and claimed first place in the Beta Conference. In the jubilant clubhouse after the decisive game, series MVP and left fielder Matt Vanatta said the Tigercats have "great fans and they deserve this."
