Season May Be Over for Astronauts Cvetkovski Tuesday, April 24th , 2085 Dealing with injuries is part of the game, and now John Cvetkovski of the Astronauts knows this firsthand. He was injured against the Anchorage Glacier Pilots while throwing a pitch. Because of a torn flexor tendon in his elbow, the Sudbury reliever is expected to miss 13 months. Cvetkovski was a little upset, but understands it comes with the territory. "Baseball can be a contact sport. You try to be careful, but no matter how careful you are, injuries happen." For the season, his stats show Cvetkovski has no saves in 5 relief appearances with a 1-0 record and 2.84 ERA. |
