Edmonton Starter Wins April's Pitcher Award Tuesday, May 1st , 2085 Last month's cream of the crop on the mound was Soon-yul Chey of the Edmonton Trappers. He captured the Beta Conference Pitcher of the Month award for his outstanding performance in April. Chey started 5 games, threw 33.1 innings, yielded 25 hits and logged a 5-0 record. He put down 25 batters on strikes, walked 7 and compiled a 1.08 ERA. Opposing teams batted .203 against him. |
