Season Possibly Over for Katsuaki Fukunaga Monday, May 14th , 2085 The season is apparently over for Katsuaki Fukunaga. The Newport News Herons medical staff informed the club that the starting pitcher will be out at least 6 months with a ruptured tricep tendon. Fukunaga was hurt in the game against Salton City while throwing a pitch. The doctors did not think he would recover prior to the end of the season. This year, Fukunaga has worked 22.2 innings with 27 strikeouts en route to a 0-0 record and a 3.18 ERA. |
