McNeely Rips Aurora for 5 Hits Sunday, May 20th , 2085 It was a parade of hits for John McNeely of the Fremont Leeches at Reds Ballpark. Connecting almost every time he went to the plate, McNeely finished the day with a total of 5 hits in 5 at-bats. His strong individual effort propelled the Leeches to a win, 17-8. "McNeely was really good and we were really bad," groaned Reds manager . "Next time he's that hot, we'll just walk him." John McNeely hit an RBI single in the 1st, hit an RBI single in the 2nd, singled in the 4th, hit a three-run double in the 5th, walked in a run in the 6th and singled in the 8th.
