SP Seiho Yoshioka Hurt Sunday, June 10th , 2085 Seiho Yoshioka expressed his disappointment when he learned that a partially torn ulnar collateral ligament would sideline him for 8-9 months. "I'll just spend a lot of time in the training room and hopefully speed up the healing process. Nobody likes to be out of the lineup," explained Yoshioka. The starting pitcher got hurt in today's game with the Sudbury Astronauts. He was hurt throwing a pitch. Team officials had no comment on his roster replacement. This season, Yoshioka has compiled a 2-2 mark, 2.32 ERA and made 7 starts. |
