Tampico Stymied by Balaguer Sunday, June 17th , 2085 In an impressive outing, Roberto Balaguer blanked the Tampico Bucaneros 6-0. "I'm getting a lot more downward movement instead of side to side. That side-to-side stuff can get hit a long way," said Balaguer, who is throwing with more of an overhand motion. "It's not rocket science. It was just a little adjustment, but that's all it took." The Rockford hurler held Tampico scoreless, allowed 3 hits, chalked up 9 strikeouts and yielded 2 walks. To date this season, Balaguer sports a 3-3 mark with a 4.14 ERA in 8 starting assignments.
