20-Game Hitting Streak for Nakamura Thursday, May 30th , 2080 Kazuhide Nakamura collected 2 hits in today's game and extended his hitting streak to 20 games. His club, the Ames Lake Jackalopes, beat the Anchorage Longbows, 7-4. "Right now, when they throw me the ball, it looks the size of a softball," Nakamura quipped to a BNN reporter after the game. "I'm excited about how things are clicking." Kazuhide Nakamura struck out in the 2nd, struck out in the 5th, singled in the 6th and singled in the 8th.
