Lexington's Sapp to Miss Season
Monday, July 29th , 2080
Josh Sapp has to call it a season. The Lexington Partisans reliever sustained a season-ending injury against the Oceanside Barnstormers and will not play again this year according to club doctors. Sapp was injured while throwing a pitch. His doctors diagnosed it as a ruptured ulnar collateral ligament and stated that he would not be able to play for 12 months.

Sapp has taken the mound for 17 relief appearances this season, nailing down 3 saves while notching a 2-2 record with a 5.82 ERA. The Lexington reliever has limited opposing batters to a .294 batting average.
