Jackalopes Lose Xi-tong Mi Wednesday, August 23rd , 2084 Xi-tong Mi is doubtful to make the playoffs this year, according to sources within the Ames Lake organization. Although the injury was initially thought to be not serious, tests have revealed the player will be out up to 5 months with shoulder inflammation. The 26-year-old starting pitcher suffered the injury throwing a pitch in a recent game against the Sudbury Astronauts. This season, Mi has worked 31 innings with 24 strikeouts en route to a 2-0 record and a 3.19 ERA. |
