Kym Parks 3 for Tampico Saturday, August 3rd , 2080 Anyone wearing a glove and sitting in the bleachers for today's Bucaneros-Scavengers game had a good chance at snagging a home run ball. Tampico left fielder Dae-yun Kym thrice sent eager fans scurrying to catch a souvenir, helping lead the Tampico to a win, 15-9, over Eagle Mountain. "Hey, the three homers were great, but I'm just trying to help my ballclub," Kym said later. "I'm not going out there thinking I need another home run." Kym was 3-for-5 on the day with 6 RBI. Dae-yun Kym hit a two-run home run off Jim Lawrence in the 1st, flied out in the 2nd, grounded out in the 4th, hit a three-run home run off Jordan Harris in the 6th and hit a solo-shot off Kian Murtagh in the 7th. |
