AC Votes Barnstormers Flores Top Player Monday, August 5th , 2080 Oceanside Barnstormers left fielder Willie Flores had a great time at the plate last week, running up some sensational numbers that no one else could match. Few people were surprised today when the Alpha Conference named him Player of the Week. Flores banged out 11 hits in 21 at-bats on the way to a .524 batting average. He also racked up 4 home runs, 6 RBIs and 7 runs scored. This season, Flores has hit at a .229 clip and produced 63 RBI, 26 home runs and 50 runs. |
