Steve Czerw Picked BC's Best Player Thursday, September 12th , 2075 Steve Czerw of the Worcester Commodores had a fine season this year and today he accepted the Outstanding Hitter Award for 2075. The 23-year-old first baseman put up a .316 average and a .445 on-base percentage, piling up 119 hits, 18 doubles, no triples, 22 home runs, 71 RBIs and 61 runs scored. He received 30 first place votes, as a unanimous winner. Zander Reilly of the Salton City Naturals finished second in voting, while Evan Salimbene of the Clyde Hill Cyclones finished third.
