Commodores Qian Tseng to Miss Year
Thursday, August 8th , 2080
The doctors have spoken and Qian Tseng of the Worcester Commodores didn't like what he heard. The 26-year-old starting pitcher is almost certainly gone for the rest of the year and depending on his progress could miss some of next season as well. Tseng sustained his season-ending injury during the Edmonton Trappers game yesterday at Ballpark of Edmonton. He had to leave the game because he hurt himself while throwing a pitch. Today the Worcester medical staff reported Tseng had radial nerve compression and would be absent from the lineup for at least 4 months.
In 10 starts this season, Tseng has chalked up a 5-5 record and a 4.78 ERA.
