Terrors Come up Short of Playoffs Saturday, August 10th , 2080 It's the better-luck-next-time point of the season for the Henderson Terrors. The club was officially eliminated from playoff contention today, and will turn their attention to next year's campaign. "You know, the average player doesn't get that many seasons, so every time you're eliminated, it hurts," said Terrors starting pitcher Jose Prades. Henderson last appeared in the postseason in 2073. This is their 7th consecutive year missing the playoffs, and in total they have not advanced past the regular season 85 times in their 91-year history. In the last 10 seasons, the Terrors have only made the playoffs once. |
