Commodores Saldivar Lost for Year Sunday, August 11th , 2080 Doctors in Worcester said Sergio Saldivar might not play anymore this year. The Commodores starting pitcher suffered a torn flexor tendon in his elbow during a game against the Newport News Herons and will be out for at least 6-7 months. Club officials told BNN they do not expect him to return to the team this season. Checking out his stats for the season, Saldivar has racked up 2 wins and 4 losses in 9 starts, posted a 4.78 ERA, and struck out 37 batters in 49 innings. |
