BC Reliever of the Year Award Winner Named Saturday, September 9th , 2084 Mark Mehringer said he thinks hitters often underestimate him, as he's only 22 years old. But he'll certainly be getting a lot more respect now, as the Marfa Lights rising star has won the Beta Conference Reliever of the Year Award for 2084. He captured the award on the strength of his 0.00 ERA over 36 innings. He also had 26 saves in 36 relief appearances, 36 strikeouts and only 7 walks. He received 17 first place votes out of a possible 30. Joe Cox of the Henderson Terrors finished second in voting with 8 first place votes, while Buck South of the Edmonton Trappers finished third with 5 first place votes.
