Hoxie, Franz Snuff Out Greens Friday, May 4th , 2085 Corey Franz kept the Geneva Greens hitters from doing much damage at Royals Ballpark. Geneva could only muster 4 hits and draw no walks against the left-handed Franz, who controlled them throughout the game. Hoxie won the contest, 4-0. Franz added 7 strikeouts in his complete-game effort. "I don't know if I was on or if they were off today," Franz told reporters after the shutout win.
