Bruisers Pitching Ravaged by Diaz Wednesday, May 9th , 2085 5 hits in a game is a rare thing, but Scott County's Bill Diaz made it happen against the Bruisers. Everything came together at the plate for the 22-year-old right fielder as he collected 5 hits in 7 at-bats -- and helped the Cougars triumph, 5-3, at Bruisers Ballpark. "I'm just out there to try and help the team win," Diaz said after the game, "I had some real good at-bats. I made good, solid contact and luckily no one caught 'em." Bill Diaz doubled in the 1st, flied out in the 2nd, hit a solo-shot off Bobby Hurlburt in the 5th, singled in the 7th, flied out in the 8th, singled in the 11th and hit a two-run home run off Lazzaro Tenucci in the 13th.
