Orlando's Vader to Miss Season Monday, June 25th , 2085 Tim Vader will soon find out from his doctors if his season will continue. The first diagnosis was not too positive and indicated the Orlando starting pitcher could miss the remainder of the year. Vader was injured while throwing a pitch in the Sword Swallowers-Barons clash at Ballpark of Orlando recently. Doctors said he has a partially torn ulnar collateral ligament and would be out a minimum of 6-7 months. So far this season, Vader has a record of 0-1 with 20 strikeouts and 12 walks in 23 innings and a 4.70 ERA. |
