Dekker Sparkles in 8-0 Shutout Monday, June 25th , 2085 The Hillsboro Ensigns struggled at the plate against Hammers hurler Danny Dekker, who shackled them on 4 hits while hurling a complete-game 8-0 shutout. "What can you say? We didn't hit well," said Ensigns skipper in postgame comments. "Hopefully we shake this off and bounce back tomorrow." Dekker finished the game with 5 strikeouts and 2 walks in an excellent mound performance. "He pitched real well," St. Louis manager said. "Danny made pitches when he had to. He hit his spots and did a great job of mixing in his changeup and using his fastball effectively." To date Dekker is 8-4 in 15 starts with a 1.90 ERA and has 93 strikeouts in 99.1 innings.
