Willie Rocha Injured, Out for Season Tuesday, June 26th , 2085 The Scott County Cougars learned that Willie Rocha is likely to be out for 4-5 months after he injured himself throwing a pitch in today's game against the Gilbert Bulldozers. A round of tests by the team doctor revealed the injury to be shoulder inflammation. Upon hearing the diagnosis, the Scott County manager told the press, "As you all know, we can't control injuries -- they are a part of the game. We just have to do the best we can until Willie is back in action." On the year, Rocha has compiled a 0-0 mark with a 4.20 ERA. |
