Umana Earns BC's Best Pitcher Honor Sunday, July 1st , 2085 The hottest hurler in the Beta Conference last month was Orlando Umana of the Milwaukee Explorers. He caught the attention of everybody in the league with some eye-catching stats, good enough to win the BC Pitcher of the Month. In June, Umana starred with an impressive 4-0 record. In 7 starts he gave up 26 base hits and struck out 30 in 36.2 innings with a 0.74 ERA. Over the season Umana has thrown 93 innings and dished out 81 strikeouts with a 9-3 mark and a 2.81 ERA. |
