Gecko J.D. Haynes Down and Out for Year Thursday, May 21st , 2076 Paradise Gecko starting pitcher J.D. Haynes suffered a torn ulnar collateral ligament during a recent game with the Glendale Bruisers and will miss 11 months. Haynes told BNN, "I hurt it throwing a pitch. I'm optimistic that I will be back quicker than they say." Thus far this season Haynes has posted a 3-0 record, started 4 games, struck out 41 batters in 32.2 innings and compiled a 1.10 ERA. |
