Gecko Frenk Veenboer Down and Out for Year Saturday, June 13th , 2076 Frenk Veenboer is doubtful to make the playoffs this year, according to sources within the Paradise organization. Although the injury was initially thought to be not serious, tests have revealed the player will be out up to 12 months with a torn ulnar collateral ligament. The 21-year-old starting pitcher suffered the injury throwing a pitch in a recent game against the Fairbanks Goldpanners. This year Veenboer has no wins and no losses and a 0.48 ERA. |
