Amador Leads Gilbert to 5-0 Win Over Salt Lake Thursday, July 25th , 2086 Gilbert Bulldozers starter Roberto Amador really did a number on the Salt Lake Stingers, shutting them out, 5-0, on 3 hits in a complete game victory. He issued 1 walk and had 9 strikeouts. "We didn't have good at-bats," said Salt Lake manager . "I don't make excuses, but when we were playing the game, our energy didn't show. That comes from either extremely good pitching or extremely lousy hitting and seeing as our team has a bunch of good hitters, I have to tip my cap to Amador." This year, Amador has compiled a 8-1 record with a 1.16 ERA. View Boxscore |
