Milwaukee's Cano BC Star of the Week Monday, August 5th , 2080 Milwaukee Explorers shortstop Jose Cano walked away with the Beta Conference Player of the Week Award today after putting up some impressive numbers over the past seven days. "The Explorers fans are really behind me right now," said the 19-year-old. "That helps. They give you the confidence to go out there and do better." Cano batted .476 (10-for-21) with 4 home runs and 6 RBIs this week on his way to the award. Thus far this year, Cano has hit .217 with 9 home runs and 26 RBIs. |
