Ramos Socks It to Fairbanks 3 Times
Tuesday, August 6th , 2080
The "hardest feat in sports" debate is a never-ending one with no correct answer, but hitting three home runs is certainly in the conversation. That's exactly what Julio Ramos did at Bucks Ballpark, going deep three times and carrying his team to victory, 5-2.
"It all came together. I was seeing the ball well and I got some good pitches to hit," Ramos said. "Good things happen, when that happens."
The Saint Paul Incas third baseman blistered the Fairbanks Goldpanners for 4 hits, batted in 3 runs and scored 3 times.
"It ain't like we weren't trying," Fairbanks manager said. "He was hot and really torched my boys today."
Julio Ramos hit a solo-shot off Yoshio Okazaki in the 2nd, hit a solo-shot off Yoshio Okazaki in the 3rd, hit a solo-shot off Yoshio Okazaki in the 5th and singled in the 7th.
In this current campaign Ramos is hitting at a .271 clip with 9 home runs and 17 RBIs.
