Lake Dalecarlia Loses Justin Tobin, Will Miss Season Saturday, August 10th , 2086 Dealing with injuries is part of the game, and now Justin Tobin of the Saxons knows this firsthand. He was injured against the Hoxie Scots while throwing a pitch. Because of a damaged elbow ligament, the Lake Dalecarlia reliever is expected to miss 12-13 months. Tobin was a little upset, but understands it comes with the territory. "Baseball can be a contact sport. You try to be careful, but no matter how careful you are, injuries happen." Looking at his season stats to date, Tobin has no saves in 13 relief appearances with a 1-0 record and 1.50 ERA. |
