Beta Conference Title Goes to Mighty Gulls Sunday, August 11th , 2086 Robby Corza said it takes "a lot of dedication and sacrifice" to win a division title. That's why he and his East Lansing Mighty Gulls teammates were so excited to celebrate their Beta Conference championship today. "It's been a team effort all year long," he said. "You don't get to this point without the guys in the room believing in what we're doing." That belief has paced the club to a 83-32 record on the season. It is the club's 9th Beta Conference championship and puts them in position for their 3rd RSL Single A championship. "It's a talented bunch in that room," the team's skipper said, pointing to his celebrating players. "I wouldn't bet against us." |
